Private Cloud

A Private Cloud is likely made up of unshared infrastructure, platforms, software and applications dedicated to your organisation in your own or a third party’s datacentre or centres, likely accessed by users via VPN. It may have your own or a third party’s platform and application residing on it.

Your risks may be limited to the fact that it is on the internet, your and the third parties’ patching regimes, system administrator access and any vulnerability the backend systems controlling your infrastructure or other access the third party may have in place.
