Servers store centralised sources of information for sharing between multiple machines and devices – they are a gold mine, for you and for attackers.

People access and share information (and infections) on the corporate network via servers.

Like a trusted cult leader, followers come and ask them for information and take as true what the cult leader provides them. Like a cult leader, servers can give damaging information that spreads to recruit new followers and cause more harm. Like a cult follower, machine’s need to be vulnerable.

The greater the number of people and systems accessing a server, the exponentially greater the risk.
