SQL Injection Attacks

SQL Injection refers to code injected into the login details for your databases. DMZ, Cloud and any other internet facing database servers can be vulnerable to SQL Injection Attacks, also known as SQLi or SQLIA.

By an attacker typing some code into the login box on the page of a public or semi-public website or application, they may be able to view all the content in a database, encrypt or destroy it, or change it, for example customer information or pricing.

It is a risk that needs to be addressed with your software developers and is purely about data hygiene. This method Is still one of the most preventable forms of cyber incidents.
